Mattel made their reproduction version of a Rear Loader Beach Bomb not long after putting Brightvision out of busniness,
capitalizing on the renewed interest in the casting generated by Brightvision.
Rumour has it that as part of the settlement, Mattel acquired Brightvision's orginal tooling & molds, which were then slightly modified to create their own release.
