Of the many versions, they run the gambit from very well made to quite poorly produced  As with any item, higher quality ones cost more than poor quality reproductions.  These lesser quality items are often misrepresented as one of the better made items to get the most profit from an unsuspecting buyer.

RLBB Reproductions can be found from the following groups:

1 - Early - either hand made conversions of Mattel's Side Loading Beach Bombs or plastic/resin cast copies.

2 - Brightvision (BV) - the most accurate and costly reproduction RLBB die-casts.

3 - Mattel - several variations on the RLBB styling such as having sealed Rear Side Windows.

4 - Other - later parties, such as SAL, used the Brightvision casting as a model to make their own lesser quality imitations

The SAL reporoductions are by far the most common and are found everywhere these days.   Many times misrepresented as Brightvision castings to raise their profits.
